Unlike the traditional telco in Singapore, Hoiio has a prepaid payment scheme by default. Subscribers top up sufficient funds into their accounts to cover the SIP trunk subscription and call charges upfront in order to use their service.

Although most subscribers are used to the postpaid payment scheme, a prepaid payment scheme does come with its benefits. With a prepaid payment scheme, users are able to keep unforeseen costs to a minimum in the event of misuse.

With a postpaid account, users will only know that their lines have been misused at the end of the month, when damage has already been done. With a prepaid account though, damage will be kept within the amount that was credited into the user’s account (minimally SGD 50/-).

Of course users can opt for a postpaid payment scheme if they prefer, by doing the following:

  • Email sales@hoiio.com to request a postpaid billing arrangement.
  • Provide ACRA + Director’s NRIC
  • Make a deposit:

AMOUNT:

  • Monthly basis:
  1. Existing customers: 2 month subscription fee + 1 month usage
  2. New customers: 2 month subscription fee
  • Yearly basis:
  1. Existing customers: 2 year subscription fee + 1 month usage
  2. New customers: 2 year subscription fee (postpaid would be applied for usage only, annual subscription must be charged at the start of circle)

*NOTE:

Deposits are rounded up to nearest $50.

The deposit will be refunded when service is terminated and all outstanding bill payments are made.
